On April 08, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of one candidate for the position of judge to administer justice at the Lviv Court of Appeal and one candidate at the Odesa Court of Appeal.
Following the results of the qualification assessment, Uliana Kostiuk confirmed her ability to administer justice at the Lviv Court of Appeal.
At the Odesa Court of Appeal, Vitalii Barvenko confirmed his ability to administer justice.
In total, interviews were conducted with 24 candidates for the Lviv Court of Appeal: 16 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal, 5 failed to confirm it, and 3 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
For the Odesa Court of Appeal, interviews were conducted with 47 candidates: 16 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 14 candidates failed to confirm it, and 17 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition
