The European Union is ready to provide expert support for the Commission, January 16, 2015
Mr Sergii Koziakov, Chairman of the Commission held an introductory meeting with Mr Virgilijus Valančius, Expert of the European Union Project «Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine» on January 16, 2015.
European Union Project «Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine» aims to support consolidated justice sector-wide reforms in Ukraine. Mr. Virgilijus Valančius emphasized that European Union is ready to provide expert support in order to implement new legislation of reforming the Ukrainian judicial system.
The project brings together all partners in the justice sector in Ukraine and helps them to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for justice sector reform corresponded European principles and best practices of EU countries.
It should be noted that the European Union hopes for long-term partnership with government agencies of Ukraine seeking European integration under the Ukraine–European Union Association Agreement.
