Mr Sergii Koziakov: the Commission is satisfied by cooperation with the USAID FAIR Justice Project, 7 August, 2015
Mr Sergii Koziakov, Chairman of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine met with Mr David Vaughn, Chief of Party of USAID FAIR Justice Project on 7 August 2015.
Mr Andrii Vasylenko, another Commission Member and Mrs Natalia Petrova, Deputy Chief of Party also took part in discussing further cooperation between the High Qualification Commission and the Agency.
Mr Koziakov marked the work of the Project and its cooperation with the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine as positive. “Accept my high appreciation for the assistance to the Commission provided by the FAIR Justice Project. We are satisfied with the cooperation and are open to further dialogue” - the Chairman of the Commission said.
The parties discussed the issues about future qualification evaluation of judges and keeping judicial dossier. Mr Vaughn assured that the Project is ready to continue providing international expert support to the Commission’s work.
Finally, the sides exchanged their views on future directions of work.
