The Commission has removed 4 judges from the office
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 22 March 2016, based on the Prosecutor General of Ukraine request it was decided to extend removal term from the office in respect of 4 judges.
Thus, in connection with the criminal prosecution, the Commission has extended removal term from the office for the period of 1 month for the following individuals:
- Mr. Sergii Vozniuk – from the position of a judge and Chief of Boryspilskyi city District Court of Kyiv region;
- Mrs. Olena Gorbatenko – from the position of a judge of the Severodonetskyi city court of Luhansk region;
- Mrs. Svitlana Volkova – from the position of a judge of the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv city.
- Mr. Vladyslav Oberemko, from the position of a judge of the Makarivskyi District Court of Kyiv region;

Mr. Vozniuk S.M., the judge
By Commission's Decision of 2 September 2015 the judge Mr. Vozniuk S.M. was removed from the position of a judge for the period of 2 months and by the Decisions of 02 November, 30 November, 25 December 2015, 25 January and 22 February 2016 the removal term was extended by 1 month.
The judge Mr. Vozniuk is accused of committing a criminal offense, envisaged by part 2 of Article 375 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely in the rendering of knowingly unjust resolution, which freed convicted individual for committed crimes, one of which is a felony, from the further punishment of imprisonment for health reasons.
Mr. Horbatenko O.M., the judge
By Commission's Decision of 25 December 2015 Mr. Horbatenko O.M. was removed from the position of a judge of the Severodonetskyi city Court of Luhansk region for two months and by Commission's Decision dated 22 February 2016 the removal term was extended by 1 month.
The judge Mr. Gorbatenko O. M. is accused of committing criminal offence envisaged by part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely in obtaining by the official, who is occupying responsible position, by prior agreement of persons’ group of undue advantage as significant amount for himself and third party for committing for the benefit of those who provided undue advantage and in the interests of a third party of any action with using official position, combined with extortion of undue advantage.
Mrs. Volkova S. Y., the judge
By Commission's Decision of 2 October 2015 Mrs. Volkova S.Y. was removed from the position of a judge of the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv city for the period of 2 months and by the Decisions of 30 November, 25 December 2015, 25 January and 22 February 2016 the removal term was extended by 1 month.
Mrs. Volkova S.Y., the judge is accused of committing criminal offenses envisaged by part 1 and 2 of Article 375 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely in the rendering of knowingly unjust decisions within criminal cases.
Mr. Oberemko V. O., the judge
By the Commission's Decision of 02 September 2015 the judge Mr. Oberemko V.O. was removed from the post of a judge of the Makarivskyi District Court of Kyiv region for the period of 2 months, by the Commission's Decisions of 02 November, 30 November, 25 December 2015, 25 January and 22 February 2016 the removal term was extended by 1 month.
The judge Mr. Oberemko V.O. is suspected of committing criminal offenses, envisaged by part 1 of Article 345, part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely in threaten murder relating to Law enforcement body's employee, a gross violation of public order on motives of explicit disrespect to community, accompanied by exceptional cynicism.
