4 judges of 9 did not confirm the possibility to administer justice

On 18 March 2016, the Qualification Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine announced the results of initial qualification assessment of last 9 judges from the fourth group.

Based on the assessment results, 5 judges, who are applying for lifetime election, confirmed the possibility to administer justice in the appropriate court, namely:

  • Mrs. Kateryna Nedashkivska – the judge of the Rivnenskyi Regional Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Iryna Sverhun – the judge of the Luhanskyi Regional Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Inna Skrypka – the judge of the Kyivskyi District Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Maryna Tolstolutska – the judge of the Donetskyi District Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Oksana Chernova – the judge of the Commercial Court of Donetsk region.

4 judges did confirm the possibility to administer justice:

  • Mrs. Olena Makovska – the judge of the Dnipropetrovskyi District Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Tamara Novikova-Kyrychenko – the judge of the Cherkaskyi District Administrative Court;
  • Mr. Oleksandr Rovynskyi – the judge of the Commercial Court of Odesa region;
  • Mrs. Victoriia Runova – the judge of the Commercial Court of Sumy region.

The Commission has removed from the administering of justice those judges who did not pass the assessment and sent them to the National School of Judges of Ukraine to pass retraining, which will last until 22 August 2016. During retraining, the Court specialization and instance will be considered as well as the results of the initial qualification assessment of mentioned judges. After studying the mentioned individuals will be pending reassessment.
