5 of 8 judges passed the initial qualification assessment
On 17 March 2016 the Qualification Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine announced the results of initial qualification assessment of 8 judges of 4th Group.
Upon the results of the assessment 5 judges applying for lifetime election, confirmed the ability to administer justice in the appropriate court, namely:
- Mrs. Yuliia Boichenko, judge of Zaporizkyi County Administrative Court;
- Mrs. Nataliia Velychko, judge of Commercial Court of Donetska oblast;
- Mrs. Valentyna Dubrovna, judge of Khersonskyi County Administrative Court;
- Mr. Andrii Korenev, judge of Dnipropetrovskyi County Administrative Court;
- Mrs. Polina Kochanova, judge of Donetskyi County Administrative Court.
Mr. Oleh Dziuba, judge of Commecial Court of Kharkivska oblast did not confirm the ability to administer justice. The Commission suspended him from the exercise of justice and sent to the National School of Judges of Ukraine to undergo retraining, which will last until 22 August 2016. During retraining, court’s specialization, instance and the results of initial qualification assessment of Mr. Oleh Dziuba will be considered. After retraining the judge will pass the reassessment.
Regarding the judge of the Dnipropetrovskyi County Administrative Court Mr. Denys Vlasenko and judge of Donetskyi County Administrative Court Mr. Yevhen Hryshchenko the Commission decided to take a recess in considering the determination results of initial qualification assessment due to the need for additional verification of judicial dossier data.
