7 judges have passed the initial qualification assessment

On 9 March 2016 the Qualification Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine announced the results of initial qualification assessment for 10 judges of the second group.

Based on the assessment results, 7 judges, who are applying for lifetime election, confirmed the abbility to administer justice in the appropriate courts, namely:

  • Mrs. Natalia Basova, judge of Luhansk Regional Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Vita Berezhniuk, judge of Commercial Court of Rivnenska oblast;
  • Mrs. Viktoria Belik, judge of Commercial Court of Dnipropetrovska oblast;
  • Mr. Anatolii Bidonko, judge of Kharkivskyi District Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Olha Hihlava, judge of Poltavskyi District Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Tetiana Davydenko, judge of Donetskyi District Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Viktoria Kotelnytska, judge of Commercial Court of Sumska oblast.

Mr. Ihor Klepov, the judge of the Commercial Court of Poltavska oblast did not confirm the ability to administer justice. The Commission has removed him from administering justice and sent him to the National School of Judges of Ukraine to pass retraining, which will last until 22 August 2016. At retraining the court specialization and instance will be considered, as well as the results of the initial qualification assessment of Mr. Ihor Klepov. After studying the mentioned judge will be subject to the reassessment.

Regarding Mrs. Natalia Bozhenko and Mrs. Viktoria Vikhrova, the judges of the District Administrative Court of the Dnipropetrovska oblast the Commission has decided to take a recess in considering the results of the initial qualification assessment stipulated by the necessity for additional verification of the data in judicial dossier.
