A regular meeting of representatives of international aid projects on strengthening the rule of law
The Commission representatives took part in the regular meeting of donors and project\program implementers in the field of rule of law, organized by the USAID FAIR Justice Project on 2 September 2015.
The representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, National School of Judges of Ukraine, State Judicial Administration of Ukraine, the Council of Judges of Ukraine, international projects and NGOs took part in the meeting, as well.
During the meeting there were also presented the results of a nationwide poll that was held in cooperation of USAID FAIR Justice Project with marketing company GfK Ukraine. The poll concerned holding democratic, economic and legal reforms, including implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On Cleansing amongst the Authorities”
During the second part of the meeting, Mr Andrii Buryi, Chairman of the Regional Public Foundation “Law and Democracy,” presented the results of Analysis on Ensuring Equal Access to Justice of People with Disabilities, which was held in 20 courts of 10 Ukrainian oblasts.
Finally, the participants exchanged news about current and future activities in strengthening the rule of law.
