Announcement of time and venue for the Congress of Judges and the beginning of documents receipt from candidates to be voted into the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine
XIII Congress of Judges of Ukraine, at which the members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine will be elected, will be held on 24-25 September 2015 (with a backup date of 26 September 2015).

According to the Article 103 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges,” the Secretariat of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine announces the beginning of documents receipt from the candidates to be voted into the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine by the Congress of Judges of Ukraine.
According to the Council of Judges of Ukraine Decision of 26 June 2015 № 65, which was received by the Commission on 4 August 2015, the holding of the XIII Congress of Judges of Ukraine was scheduled on 24-25 September 2015 (with a backup date of 26 September 2015). The issue of electing the members of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine was included to the Congress agenda.
The Congress venue is the International Centre of Culture and Arts (the October Palace), having the address at 1 Instytutska str., Kyiv.
The receipt of documents from the candidates is carried out by the Secretariat of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine at 9 Mekhanizatoriv str., Kyiv from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 18:00, on Friday from 9:00 to 16:45 and on the last day of 24 August 2015 from 9:00 to 24:00.
The box for documents receipt is placed in the Commission lobby.
Full list of requirements for candidates to be voted into the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, as well as restrictions of membership in the Commission are determined by the Article 102 of the Law. The examples of documents that must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Commission are available on the official website of the Commission http://www.vkksu.gov.ua/ in section “Information for candidates to the HQCJU.” The list of candidates for the position of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and information about them will be posted in section “Candidates to the HQCJU.”
