Before the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the Commission) there are applications of the Council of Judges of Ukraine, Head of Donetskyi County Administrative Court of Ukraine and the High Council of Justice on raising the question of holding disciplinary liable of professional judges of:

who were appointed as judges of the Donetsk People’s Republic or Donetska Narodna Respublika (hereinafter referred to as the DNR) by the DNR Head’s Orders “On appointment of judges” № 2 and № 3 of 9 January, 2015.
The information mentioned in applications indicates the likelihood of collaboration of these judges with the terrorist organization DNR and that their actions are aimed at overthrowing the sovereignty, outranging territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine; violation of judicial ethics.
In order to inform the judges on checking the data for grounds of disciplinary proceedings opening, the Commission proposes above-mentioned judges within ten days from the date of this announcement placing either to provide information about their location to send them copies of applications or to send to the Commission their explanations regarding violations that possibly were committed by them.
In case of failure of these judges to provide the data requested, they will be considered as those who refused to provide their explanations on meri
