Commission recommendations on dismissal of 14 judges from Donetsk region were supported by the HCJ
On 18 February 2016 the High Council of Justice reviewed the recommendations of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine on filing a proposal regarding dismissal of Donetsk judges for violation of oath.
Recalling that on 18 November 2015 at the meeting of Commission was considered the appeal of Simonenko V.M., Chairman of the Council of Judges of Ukraine, Kiriyenko V.O., Chairman of Donetsk Regional Administrative Court, Muravyov O.V., Deputy Chairman of the High Council of Justice of Ukraine and the Commission decided to recommend to the High Council of Justice dismissing 15 judges of the Donetsk region in whose actions the evidences of oath violation are seen.
Having considered the Commission’s materials, the HCJ agreed for existence of grounds for filing a proposal on dismissal of 14 judges for violation of oath. The consideration of materials on dismissal of one another judge of Donetsk region was deferred.
