Disciplinary proceedings against 7 judges were launched

On 15 March 2016 at the meeting of the Disciplinary Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine it considered the issues on opening and denial to open disciplinary cases.

After verification the Commission decided to launch disciplinary proceedings against the following 7 judges:

  • Mr. Vasyl Polosenko, judge of Appeal Court of Kyivska oblast;
  • Mr. Yevhen Bunin, judge of Dvorichanskyi District Court of Kharkivska oblast;
  • Mr. Vitalii Ivchenko, judges of Prymorskyi District Court of Odessa city;
  • Mr. Volodymyr Pak, Stryiskyi City-District Court of Lvivska oblast;
  • Mr. Volodymyr Karaban, judge of Pecherskyi District Court of Kyivska oblast;
  • Mrs. Tamara Titova, judge of Dobropilskyi City-District Court of Donetska oblast;
  • Mr. Viacheslav Stepanenko, judge of Dnipropetrovskyi County Administrative Court.

Regarding 29 appeals, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to deny opening disciplinary cases.

The Commission terminated disciplinary proceedings against Mr. Roman Samsin, who served as judge of Kyivskyi Commercial Court of Appeal.

On the appeal of Troian Y.L. regarding the judges of Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv city Mrs. Liudmyla Koziatnyk, Mrs. Liudmyla Shybko (who now is a judge of High Specialized Court of Ukraine for Civil and Criminal Cases) the issues was left without consideration.
