For 46 judges who have successfully passed qualification evaluation, the HCJ will submit an application for appointment to local courts
On December 5, 2019, the High Council of Justice reviewed the materials received from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine regarding the submission to the President of Ukraine for the appointment of 49 judges to local courts.
The powers of the said judges were terminated due to the expiry of the term for which they were appointed. For a long time judges did not administer justice, so their appointment will reduce the level of judicial load and speed up the hearing of cases.
The judges have passed qualification evaluation for compliance with the position held and are recognized by the Commission as being relevant.
Following the consideration of the recommendations of the Commission, the HCJ decided to submit to the President of Ukraine an application on the appointment of 46 judges.
