Guidance of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine discussed joint action plan with the representatives of the Judicial Council of Ukraine and the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine
The first working meeting of discussing plans for joint activities of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the Council of Judges of Ukraine and the State Judicial Administration was held on March 6, 2015.
The event was attended by Mr Sergii Koziakov, Chairman of the Commission, Mr Stanislav Shchotka, Secretary of the Commission, Mr Andrii Vasylenko, Advisor to the Chairman of the Commission, Mrs Olena Ponomarenko, Head of the Secretariat of the Commission, Mr Roman Savchuk, Head of the Secretariat of judicial training of the Commission, Mrs Valentyna Simonenko, Chairman of the Board of Judges of Ukraine and Mr Zenovii Holodniuk, Chairman of the State Judicial Administration.
During the meeting the participants discussed the implementation of the provision of Law of Ukraine "On the right to a fair trial" regarding the qualification evaluation of judges.
Participants agreed to establish a joint working group and adopt a plan of urgent measures for the implementation of the provision of Law.
