High Council of Justice will submit a proposal for appointment to the positions in local courts regarding four judges who successfully passed the qualification evaluation
On May 30, 2019, the High Council of Justice considered the materials submitted to the High Council of Justice by the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine regarding submission of a proposal to the President of Ukraine on the appointment of four judges to the positions in local courts.
The powers of the said judges were terminated due to the expiration of the term for which they were appointed. For a long time, judges did not administer justice, and therefore their appointment would reduce the level of court litigation in courts and speed up the consideration of cases.
The judges passed the qualification evaluation for compliance with their position and were recognized by the Commission as being in compliance with their position.
As a result of consideration of the recommendations of the Commission, the HCJ decided to submit a proposal to the President of Ukraine on the appointment of four judges.
