High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine suspended the initial qualification assessment of 7 appellate court judges of Kyiv region

Upon the meeting results of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine as of 18 May 2016 it terminated the initial qualification assessment of another 7 appellate court judges of Kyiv region who had submitted to the High Council of Justice the notice of retirement and resignation due to the inability to exercise the functions because of health reasons.

  • Mrs. Svitlana Koval, judge of Appeal Court of Kyiv city;
  • Mrs. Liubov Kotula, judge of Appeal Court of Kyiv city;
  • Mrs. Liubov Lukianets, judge of Appeal Court of Kyiv city;
  • Mr. Valerii Odynets, judge of Appeal Court of Kyiv city;
  • Mr. Dmytro Sokurenko, judge of Appeal Court of Kyiv city;
  • Mr. Vasyl Shymanskyi, judge of Appeal Court of Kyiv city;
  • Mr. Oleksandr Shostak, judge of Kyiv Appeal Administrative Court.

These judges are not required to pass the initial qualification assessment till the addressing the issue on their retirement.
