The Commission and National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation
On 19th July 2016 Mr. Sergii Koziakov, Chairman of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, and Mr. Artem Sytnyk, Director of the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
Taking into consideration the intention to hold a competition for occupying vacant positions of judges in the Supreme Court of Ukraine, the act of cooperation between the two bodies was signed today.
Mr. Sergii Koziakov said that the Commission always on time received informative materials from NABU. Mr. Artem Sytnyk also positively evaluated the collaboration. In his opinion the Commission will be able to form a new judiciary corpus using the materials of NABU.
Mr. Sergii Koziakov remarked that the formation of new composition of the Supreme Court of Ukraine is the main task for the Commission nowadays.
Mr. Artem Sytnyk stressed that NABU is ready to help with this process.
Mr Gizo Uglava, Deputy Director of the National Anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Mr. Igor Yarchak, the head of the Legal Department of NABU, Mr. Maksim Kovalenko, the head of the Division of work support of the Director of NABU, members of the Commission Ms Anastasiia Zaritska, Mr Stanislav Shchotka, Mr Mykhailo Makarchuk, Mr Andrii Vasylenko, Mrs. Olena Ponamarenko, head of the Commission Secretariat, Mr. Mykola Mykolyuk, Head of Legal Department of the Commission, acting director of the Department of Professional Selection of Judges and Candidates - also took part in the meeting.
