The Commission considered disciplinary matters

At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine which took place on June 30 to July 1, 2015 the issue on making the disciplinary responsibility of judges was considered.

After reviewing the documents, the Commission decided to apply a disciplinary penalty in the form of reprimand to Ms. Mariia Martynyshyn, Judge of Frankivskyi District Court of the city Lviv and Mr Artem Braha, Judge of Zhovtnevyi District Court of the city Dnipropetrovsk.

The Commission decided to open disciplinary proceedings against four judges.

The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine has decided to refuse to open disciplinary proceedings against more than 347 petitions.

In particular, the Commission refused to open disciplinary proceedings against Mr Feliks Maimur, Judge of Kirovogradskyi District Court of the city Dnipropetrovsk and Ms. Irma Yelizarenko, Judge of the Court of Appeal of Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Regarding Mr Oleksii Chubukov and Ms. Svitlana Mykhailovska disciplinary proceedings were closed.

It also refused to open disciplinary proceedings against Mr Volodymyr Pidkurhannyi, Judge of Vyshhorodskyi District Court of Kyiv oblast. Regarding Mr Oleksandr Maloroda the disciplinary procedure was closed.

The Commission refused to open disciplinary proceedings against Ms. Iryna Solomko and Mr Ivan Honcharuk, Judges of the Court of Appeal of Cherkasy oblast. Regarding Mr Ivan Okhrimenko disciplinary procedure was closed.

The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine has decided to withdraw the disciplinary procedure for further examination against 17 judges.
