The Commission considered the issue of bringing judges to disciplinary responsibility

The issue on making the disciplinary responsibility of judges was considered at the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine held on June 25, 2015.

The Commission decided to open disciplinary proceedings against four judges.

The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to refuse to open disciplinary proceedings against more than 320 petitions.

In particular, the Commission refused to open disciplinary proceedings against Ms. Zoia Ponomar and Mrs. Tetiana Krasvitna, Judges of the Court of Appeal of Dnipropetrovsk oblast. Regarding Ms. Svitlana Mykhailivska the disciplinary procedure was closed.

The Commission also refused to open disciplinary proceedings against Ms. Larysa Kulesh, Mr Oleksii Bas and Viktor Zaika, Judges of the Court of Appeal of Khmelnytskyi oblast. Regarding Mr. Petro Ryshchuk the disciplinary procedure was closed.

The Commission suspended the disciplinary procedures against 6 judges.

The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine has decided to withdraw disciplinary cases for further verification concerning the 16 judges.
