The Commission recommends the HCJ to dismiss 2 judges due to the oath breach
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 17 December 2015, it considered the issue of bringing judges to disciplinary liability.
Based on the verification results the Commission has decided to send a recommendation to the High Council of Justice to address an issue on forwarding submission concerning 2 judges’ dismissal. Within the actions of Mr. Pavlo Medentsev, the judge of the Commercial Court of Odeska oblast and Mr. Dmytro Roik, the judge of Malynovskyi District Court of Odesa city the facts that indicate the oath breach are seen.
Due to the time frame the Commission has terminated the disciplinary proceedings against 4 judges.
There were also terminated the disciplinary proceedings against another 4 judges.
The consideration of the issue on brining of 11 judges to disciplinary liability has been deferred.
