The Commission removed the judges from their office
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 18 August 2015, upon the request of the Prosecutor-General of Ukraine the Commission has decided to remove 2 judges from the office and to extend the removal from the office of 1 judge.
Notably, in connection with the prosecution the Commission removed Mr Serhii Vovk, judge of Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv city from his office for a period of 2 months.
The Commission also removed Mrs Iryna Tataurova, judge of Desnianskyi District Court of Kyiv city from the office until 2 September 2015.
Furthermore, the Commission extended for a month the removal from the office of Mr Yevhen Bruhovskyi, judge of Cherniakhivskyi District Court of Zhytomyrska oblast.
At the same time, the Commission postponed the consideration of the cases on removal from the office of:
- Mrs Oksana Tsarevych, judge of Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv city;
- Mr Serhii Vozniuk, judges of Boryspilskyi City-District Court of Kyivska oblast;
- Mrs Liubov Perepeliuk, judge of Appeal Court of Chernivetska oblast.
Regarding Mrs Iryna Tarankova, judge of Komsomolskyi City Court of Poltavska oblast, the Commission decided to return the Prosecutor General of Ukraine request due to his submission for its revocation.
