The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered disciplinary matters

At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, which took place on 4 June 2015, the case on holding the judges disciplinary liable was considered.

After verification, the Commission decided to launch disciplinary proceedings against 11 judges.

The Commission decided to launch disciplinary proceedings against Mr Dmytro Maltsev, judge of Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv city. The Commission refused to launch disciplinary proceedings against Mrs Olena Hanechko, judge of the Kyivskyi Appeal Administrative Court for acts committed as a judge of Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv city.

The Commission decided to launch disciplinary proceedings against Mrs Kateryna Karakusha and Valerii Bielka, judges of Appeal Court of Zaporizka oblast. The Commission terminated the disciplinary proceedings against Mrs Oleksandra Hlaskova, judge of the aforementioned court.

At the same time, the Commission also terminated the disciplinary proceedings against 4 judges.

Overall, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine refused to open a disciplinary proceeding upon 311 petitions.

High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to withdraw the disciplinary proceedings for further verification against 16 judges.
