The President and the Vice President of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) elected
On December 4, 2018, at the 31st plenary meeting of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ), which is taking place in Strasbourg, France, the President and the Vice President of the CEPEJ were elected by Members of the organization by secret vote.
Thus, Mr. Ramin Gurbanov (CEPEJ member from Azerbaijan) became the President of the CEPEJ, and Ms. Ivanna Borzova (CEPEJ member from the Czech Republic) became the Vice President.
The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine extends sincere congratulations to the newly elected leadership of the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ).
Ensuring the rule of law is honorable and at the same uneasy task requiring high professionalism and remarkable responsibility. The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) as an expert organization whose activities play a decisive role in improving the efficiency of the judiciary in the CEPEJ Member States and are aimed at strengthening independence, justice and the rule of law, got highly professional, experienced and principled leaders.
