Upon the request of the Prosecutor-General of Ukraine the Commission decided to extend the removal of two judges from the office
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 8 June 2015, upon the request of the Prosecutor-General of Ukraine the Commission decided to extend the removal of two judges from the office.
Specifically, in connection with the institution of criminal proceedings the Commission extended the removal from office for a one month period of Mr Serhii Vovk, judge of Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv city and Mrs Svitlana Kushnir, judge of Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv city.
The Commission decided to postpone consideration of the case on removal and extension of removal from office in respect of Mr Vladyslav Oberemko, judge of Makarivskyi District Court of Kyivska oblast and Mrs Lubov Perepeliuk, judge of Appeal Court of Chernivetska oblast.
Regarding Mr Pavlo Medentsev, judge of Commercial Court of Odeska oblast, the Commission decided to return the request to the Prosecutor-General of Ukraine.
