Working meeting of the Commission Chairman with representatives of the USAID Regional Mission in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova took place
On 8 February 2017 the Chairman of the Commission Mr. Sergii Koziakov held a working meeting with representatives of the USAID Regional Mission in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova.
Mr. Koziakov told about the status and powers of the Commission in the light of recent constitutional changes and peculiarities of judicial reform implementation process and reported on the current status of justice sector reform in Ukraine.
In addition, the Chairman of the Commission informed about the progress of holding the competition to the Supreme Court. He noted that the Commission is currently conducting a special verification procedure of candidates and is actively preparing for the qualification assessment of judicial candidates to the Supreme Court, which would be held on 16 and 21 February current year in the form of anonymous written test and writing of practical tasks.
At the end of the meeting, guests expressed their gratitude for meaningful conversation and wished success in the selection of future judges to the Supreme Court of Ukraine.
