The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine will continue to cooperate with the National Judicial Institute of Canada (NJI), December 18, 2014

Sergii Koziakov, Chairman of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine held an introductory meeting with Donald Chiasson, NJI’s Legal and Education Director on December 18, 2014.

The Chairman of the Commission was acquainted with the NJI’s major objectives and main activities within the Canadian-Ukrainian Project «Judicial Education for Economic Growth». Igor Osyka, the Project’s manager also joined the meeting.

The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the National School of Judges of Ukraine are the active partners of the NJI. Parties agree to encourage further cooperation.

The National Judicial Institute of Canada is an independent, not-for-profit institution aimed to develop better justice through leadership in the education of judges in Canada and internationally.

The Institute proves itself as center for successful planning and implementation of judicial qualification training including: development of training materials, courses and plans. NJI has enough resources for productive and sustainable support for Ukraine's judicial system and in particular for judges.
