20 judges received recommendations of the Commission for election to lifetime judicial position
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 7 October, 2015, it considered issues on recommending candidates for election to the lifetime judicial position.
Upon the verification, the Commission decided to recommend 20 candidates for election to the post of judge for lifetime term.
The Commission also decided to defer consideration of issue on recommending for election to lifetime judicial position in respect of 3 candidates.
In addition, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to deny recommending for election to lifetime judicial position regarding 1 candidate.
Furthermore, the Commission decided to grant the application of 1 person for being restored in the status of judge in retirement.
Finally, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to return to the Parliament of Ukraine the materials on election for lifetime judicial position of 1 judge.
