6 of 8 judges confirmed the capability to administer justice
On 27 May 2016 the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine determined the results of initial qualification assessment in respect of 8 judges of the Appeal Court of Kyiv city.
Upon the assessment results, the Commission Board, composing of Mrs.Valentyna Ustymenko, Head of the Board, Mrs. Tetiana Shylova and Mr. Pavlo Lutsiuk decided that 6 judges are capable to administer justice in the appropriate court, namely:
- Mr. Oleksandr Zhuravel;
- Mr. Roman Ihnatov;
- Mrs. Liudmyla Kepkal;
- Mrs. Vira Kovalska;
- Mr. Oleh Malinovskyi;
- Mr. Denys Masenko.
Regarding the judges Mr. Anatolii Kyiashko and Mr. Volodymyr Melnyk, the Commission decided to take a recess in considering the determination of results of initial qualification assessment due to the need for additional data verification of judicial dossier.
