8 of 10 judges have passed initial qualification assessment

On 16 March 2016, the Qualification Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine announced results of initial qualification assessment of last 10 judges of the 3rd Group.

Based on the assessment results, 8 judges, who are applying for lifetime election, confirmed the ability to administer justice in the appropriate court, namely:

  • Mrs. Yevheniia Kyseliova – the judge of the Luhanskyi Regional Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Lidiia Klimenko – the judge of the Zhovtnevyi District Court of Zaporizhzhia city;
  • Mr. Pavlo Komar – the judge of the Vinnytskyi Regional Administrative Court;
  • Mr. Andrii Kulbaba – the judge of the Yarmolinetskyi District Court of Khmelnytska oblast;
  • Mrs. Nataliia Lisovska – the judge of the Mykolaivskyi District Administrative Court;
  • Mr. Sergii Martsynkevych – the judge of the Khmelnytskyi District Court of Khmelnytska oblast;
  • Mrs. Taisiya Ryabenka – the judge of the Chervonoarmiiskyi District Court of Zhytomyrska oblast;
  • Mrs. Natalia Terenchuk – the judge of the Velykomykhailivskyi District Court of Odeska oblast.

Mr. Ihor Maksymovych, the judge of the Kalanchatskyi District Court of Khersonska oblast did not confirm the ability to administer justice. The Commission has removed him from administering of justice and sent to the National School of Judges of Ukraine to pass retraining, which will last until           22 August 2016. During retraining, the court specialization and instance will be considered, as well as the results of the initial qualification assessment of                            Mr. Ihor Maksymovych. After studying the mentioned judge will be subject reassessment.

Regarding Mr. Pavlo Mykuliak, the judge of the Zakarpatskyi District Administrative Court the Commission has decided to take a recess in considering the determination results of initial qualification assessment due to the need for judicial dossier additional data verification.
