Chairman of the Commission held working meeting with Legal and Education Director, International Cooperation Group, National Judicial Institute of Canada
On 9 November 2016 Mr. Sergii Koziakov, the Chairman of the Commission held working meeting with Mr. Donald Chiasson, Legal and Education Director, International Cooperation Group, National Judicial Institute of Canada.
The participants focused their attention on cooperation in the development and implementation of an effective training course for future Supreme Court judges.
Specifically, Mr. Donald Chiasson spoke about the programs of practical training courses for judges in Canada, which development also covered by the National Judicial Institute of Canada.
Mr. Sergii Koziakov acknowledged serious attitude of Canadian counter partners to the preparation process and training methods for future Supreme Court judges and also expressed hope that Canadian partners will continue providing further assistance to the Commission in carrying out important tasks.
