Commission began announcing the results of the initial qualification assessment of the appellate court judges
On 19 April 2016 the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine determined the results of initial qualification assessment of 9 judges of the appeal court of Kyiv region.
Upon results of the assessment the Commission Board composed of Mr. Mykola Patriuk, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Andrii Vasylenko and Mr.Volodymyr Butenko decided that the following 8 judges are capable to administer justice in the respective courts:
- Mr. Ruslan Berezovenko;
- Mrs. Olena Bilokon;
- Mr. Serhii Verlanov;
- Mr. Leonid Volokhov;
- Mrs. Svitlana Holub;
- Mr. Oleksii Danilov;
- Mr. Serhii Zhurba;
- Mrs. Iryna Ivanova.
Mrs. Larysa Dmytriieva did not confirm the ability to administer justice. The Commission suspended her from administering justice and sent to the National School of Judges of Ukraine to undergo retraining, which will last until 22 September 2016. During retraining the specialization, instance of the court and the assessment results of Mrs. Dmytriieva will be taken into account. After studying the judge will be subject to reassessment.
