Commission considered disciplinary matters
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 7 April 2016 it considered the issue of bringing judges to disciplinary responsibility.
Having considered the appeal of Bukach V.M., President of the NGO “Rule of Law”, Ilyev V.F., Director of “Hlavbud plius”, the Commission decided to recommend to the High Council of Justice to dismiss Mrs. Liubov Zhuhan, judge of Malynovskyi District Court of Odessa city, seeing in her actions evidences of oath violation.
Due to the expiry of the date the Commission suspended the disciplinary proceedings against:
- Mr. Vitalii Strelbytskyi, judge of Halytskyi District Court of Lviv city;
- Mr. Vasyl Honcharuk, judge of Umanskyi City-District Court of Cherkasy region;
- Mrs. Nadiia Trophymova, judge of the District Court of Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Mrs. Olena Pylypenko, Mrs. Yana Hlushchenko, Mrs. Svitlana Shelest, judges of Kyiv Appeal Administrative Court.
Moreover, the Commission terminated disciplinary proceedings against:
- Mr. Mykola Bibka, judge of Babushkinskyi District Court of Dnipropetrovsk city;
- Mr. Dmytro Chulin, judge of Babushkinskyi District Court of Dnipropetrovsk city.
The Commission deferred consideration of disciplinary proceedings in respect of:
- Mrs. Oksana Myroshnychenko, judge of Holosiivskyi District Court of Kyiv city;
- Mrs. Khrystyna Hladun, judge of Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv city;
- Mr. Andrii Volchok, judge of Kyievo-Sviatoshynskyi District Court of Kyiv region;
- Mr. Ivan Posokhov and Viktoriia Oliinyk, judge of Sievierodonetskyi City Court of Luhansk region.
