Commission considered the issue of bringing judges to disciplinary liability
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 12 October 2015, the question of bringing judges to disciplinary liability was considered.
After verification the Commission decided to open disciplinary proceedings against 11 judges of 9 courts.
In addition, the HQCJU decided to refuse to open a disciplinary case in respect of 205 appeals.
Furthermore, the Commission discontinued disciplinary proceedings against 9 judges.
At the end of the meeting, the Commission decided to defer consideration of disciplinary proceedings in respect of 20 judges.
