Commission extended the suspension term of judge Svitlana Kushnir
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 24 November 2015, it considered the request of the Prosecutor-General of Ukraine on suspension extension Mrs. Svitlana Kushnir, judge of Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv city, in connection with the criminal prosecution.
After consideration of the issue the Commission extended suspension of Mrs. Svitlana Kushnir for a one month period.

Judge Svitlana Kushnir was suspended for two months from the office of judge of Solomianskyi District Court of Kyiv city by the Commission Decision as of 24 September 2015.
Judge Svitlana Kushnir is suspected of committing a criminal offense prescribed by Article 375 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely in rendering knowingly unjust rulings.
