Commission opened disciplinary proceedings in respect of 5 judges

At the meeting of the Disciplinary Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 18 May 2016, it considered disciplinary matters.

Upon the verification results the Commission decided to open disciplinary proceedings against 5 judges:

  • Mr. Andrii Karnaukh, judge of Appeal Court of Chernihiv region;
  • Mr. Volodymyr Makaryk, judge of Lvivskyi Appellate Administrative Court;
  • Mrs. Iryna Ridnyk, judge of Kominternivskyi District Court of Odesa region;
  • Mrs. Olena Pavlenko, judge of Podilskyi District Court of Kyiv city;
  • Mrs. Viktoriia Nosivets, judge of Commercial Court of Zaporizhzhia region.

In respect of 62 appeals, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine decided to deny in opening a disciplinary case.

Furthermore, the Commission deferred consideration of disciplinary proceedings in respect of:

  • Mrs. Olha Panchenko, judge of Dnipropetrovskyi Administrative Court of Appeal;
  • Mrs. Olena Runcheva, judge of Nikopolskyi City-District Court of Dnipropetrovsk region;
  • Mrs. Krystyna Tarasiuk, judge of Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv city.

The Commission terminated disciplinary proceedings in respect of Mrs. Olha Derunets, who served as judge of Sosnivskyi District Court of Cherkasy city.

Regarding appeal of Kuleshir O.M. concerning Kosivskyi District Court of Ivano-Frankivsk region Mr. Volodymyr Hordii, the Commission left the issue without consideration.
