Commission recommends dismissing 19 judges of Donetsk region
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine held on 18 November, 2015 it considered the issue of bringing judges to disciplinary liability.
Upon consideration of the appeals of Mrs. Valentyna Simonenko, Chairman of the Council of Judges of Ukraine, Mr. Viacheslav Kiriienko, Chairman of Donetskyi County Administrative Court, Mr. Oleksiy Muraviov, Deputy Chairman of the High Council of Justice the Commission decided to recommend to the High Council of Justice dismissing 19 judges of the Donetsk region.
Thus, Commission decided to send a recommendation to the High Council of Justice on dismissing 15 judges of Donetsk region, seeing the facts of breaching the oath by these judges.
In addition, the Commission recommends to the High Council of Justice dismissing 4 judges, seeing the facts of incompatibility requirements violation in exercising their official duties.
