Commission returned the request for suspension
At the meeting of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 20 May 2016, it considered the request of acting Prosecutor General of Ukraine regarding the extension of the suspension term of a judge due to brining to criminal liability.
The Commission decided to return the request for extension of the suspension term of Mr. Serhii Vozniuk, judge and Chairman of Boryspilskyi District Court of Kyiv Region due to non-compliance with the Article 155 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The request of the judge of Avdiivskyi City Court of Donetsk region Mrs. Olena Panchenko to cancel the Decision of the Commission as of 24 January 2012 № 1/vp-12 on suspension was left without consideration.

Judge Serhii Vozniuk
By the Commission Decision as of 2 September 2015 the judge Serhii Vozniuk was suspended for 2 months, and by the Decisions as of 2 November, 30 November, 25 December 2015, 25 January, 22 February, 22 March and 22 April 2016 his suspension period was extended for 1 month.
Judge Serhii Vozniuk is accused of committing a criminal offense provided by Article 375, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely delivery of a knowingly unfair ruling, which released the person convicted of crimes one of which is aggravated, from further punishment of imprisonment for health reasons.
