For 53 judges who have successfully passed qualification evaluation, the HCJ submit an application for appointment of judges to local courts

On November 12, 2019, the High Council of Justice reviewed materials received from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine regarding the submission to the President of Ukraine of the appointment of 57 judges to local courts.

The powers of the said judges were terminated due to the expiry of the term for which they were appointed. For a long time, judges did not administer justice, so their appointment will reduce the level of judicial burden in the courts and speed up the hearing of cases.

Judges have passed qualification evaluation for compliance with the position held and are recognized by the Commission as being relevant.

Following the consideration of the recommendations of the Commission, the HCJ decided to submit to the President of Ukraine a submission on the appointment of 53 judges.
