HCJ will submit for appointment to local courts 25 judges who successfully passed the qualification evaluation
On August 13, 2019, the High Council of Justice considered the materials provided by the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine regarding the submission to the President of Ukraine for the appointment of 25 judges to local courts.
The powers of the said judges were terminated due to the expiry of the term for which they were appointed. For a long time, the judges did not administer justice, so their appointment will reduce the level of litigation in the courts and speed up the hearing of cases.
Judges have passed a qualification evaluation for the position held and are recognized by the Commission as being relevant.
Following the consideration of the recommendations of the Commission, the HCJ decided to submit to the President of Ukraine on the appointment of 25 judges.
