Meeting of the Working Group of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the Council of Judges of Ukraine
By the Decisions of the Council of Judges of Ukraine as of 11 December 2015 № 14-15 on approval of the Procedure and Methodology for Qualification Assessment of Judges (hereinafter referred as “Procedure”), Regulation on Examination Procedure and Its Evaluation Methodology During Qualification Assessment of Judges (hereinafter referred as “Regulation”) a Working Group with the representatives of the Council of Judges of Ukraine and the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, aiming at further development of proposals for qualification assessment, was established.
The representatives of the Working Group from the Council of Judges of Ukraine included:
- Mr. Hryhorii Aleinikov, judge of the Appeal Court of Zaporizka oblast;
- Mr. Andrii Volkov, judge of the Kyivskyi County Administrative Court;
- Mrs. Tetiana Chumachenko, judge of the High Administrative Court of Ukraine.
Moreover, the representatives of the Working Group from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine included:
- Mr. Andrii Vasylenko;
- Mrs. Tetiana Veselska;
- Mr. Stanislav Shchotka.
The first meeting of the Working Group was held on 22 January 2016.
Upon the meeting results the participants agreed to hold monthly meetings of the Working Group due to the need to inform the judicial public about the results of its work on the official websites of the Council of Judges of Ukraine and the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.
The Working Group also agreed evaluation procedures and consideration of proposals from courts and judges to improve procedures for qualification assessment.
