Meeting with representatives of the International Monetary Fund Mission took place in the Commission
On March 12, 2019, a working meeting of Mr. Sergii Koziakov, Chairman of the Commission and Mr. Stanislav Shchotka, Deputy Chairman of the Commission with Mr. Jonathan Pampolina, Legal Adviser of the International Monetary Fund and Ms. Mariia Chebanova, economist of the IMF Mission to Ukraine took place at the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine.
The parties discussed the process of selecting candidates for judicial vacancies of the High Anti-Corruption Court and the Appeal Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court, in particular, the results of competitions and forming ratings of candidates.
Mr. Jonathan Pampolina highly appreciated the level and quality of the procedures performed by the Commission in course of these competitions.
Representatives of the HQCJ thanked the IMF Mission for monitoring the selection and also noted the comprehensive support of international partners and members of the PCIE.
In addition, the participants outlined the prospects for cooperation in improving the Commission’s judiciary career procedures based on existing experience.
Ms. Yuliia Tkachenko, Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Commission Secretariat also participated in the event.
