Regular meeting on Intellectual Property Dialogue between Ukraine and EU took place
On June 26, 2019, a regular meeting of the Intellectual Property Dialogue between Ukraine and the EU took place in Kyiv, where the High Qualification Commission of Judges was represented by Taras Neshyk, Director of the Judicial Career Department of the Secretariat of the Commission.
The representatives of the European Union, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health and the State Service of Ukraine on Medicines and Drugs Control took part in discussion.
During the meeting, the state of implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in the area of intellectual property reform, free trade zone development, collective management of rights, non-payment of royalties by state television and radio organizations, as well as the implementation of the section on patents and the provisions of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU on data protection were discussed.
Special attention was paid to creation of the High Court on Intellectual Property. The completion procedure to the Court implemented by the HQCJU got positive marks by the EU representatives.
