The Commission amended the Regulations
The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine amended the Regulations due to the need to improve some of its provisions. It took into account recommendations of experts of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) FAIR Justice Project and the Bar Association of Ukraine.
In particular, the Commission amended the Regulations in part of general principles of the Commission’s work, the qualification assessment and disciplinary proceedings regarding a judge.
It was also amended the section “Procedure for deciding to suspend the judge from office in connection with criminal prosecution.”
