The disciplinary cases against 22 judges were opened, including 10 judges from Autonomous Republic of Crimea
At the meeting of the Disciplinary Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, held on 28 January 2016 the issue of disciplinary cases opening and refusal in opening was reviewed.
Based on the verification results the Commission has decided to open disciplinary cases against:
• Mrs. Nataliia Plieva, Mrs. Olena Yurina, Mr. Ihor Harchenko, judges of Commercial Court of Sevastopol city, Mr. Volodymyr Koval, Mrs. Oleksandra Protsenko, Mrs. Victoriia Sotula, judges of Sevastopolskyi Commercial Court of Appeal, Mrs. Tetiana Olshanska, Mrs. Halyna Tsyhanova, judges of the District Administrative Court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Mrs. Liubov Rodkina, judge of the Simferopolskyi District Court of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Mrs. Nataliia Popova, judge of the Haharynskyi District Court of Sevastopol city, Mrs. Larysa Lohvina, judge of the Sverdlovskyi city Court of Luhanska oblast;
• Mrs. Iryna Frolova, judge of Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv city;
• Mr. Andrii Melnyk, judge of Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv city;
• Mr. Anatolii Derus, judge of Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa city;
• Mr. Vitalii Shchavinskyi, judge of Kyivskyi District Administrative Court;
• Mr. Evhen Chernykh, judge of Barvinkivskyi District Court of Kharkivska oblast;
• Mr. Oleh Karpliuk, judge of Khmelnytskyi City Court of Khmelnytska oblast;
• Mr. Andrii Sapon, judge of Desnianskyi District Court of Chernihiv city;
• Mrs. Nadiia Shcherba, Mrs. Oleksandra Fartukh, judges of Pishchanskyi District Court of Vinnitska oblast;
• Mr. Artem Braha, judge of Zhovtnevyi District Court of Dnipropetrovsk city;
• Mrs. Olena Pihur, judge of Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv city.
With regards to 39 appeals the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine has decided to deny opening a disciplinary case.
The Commission terminated the disciplinary proceedings related to:
• Mrs. Inna Petrenko (served as judge of the Court of Appeal of Dnipropetrovska oblast);
• Mr. Volodymyr Barashkov (served as judge of the Ivano-Frankivskyi City Court of the Ivano-Frankivska oblast).
On the appeal of the subsidiary company "Kirovohradskyi Regional Center of Troopers Adaptation" concerning Mr. Volodymyr Balyk, judge of the Commercial Court of Kirovohradska oblast, the issue was left without consideration.
