The member of the Qualification Chamber of the HQCJ Mr. Taras Lukash, who took part in the round table, spoke on the importance of the judges' assessment procedure. In particular, he noted: “The qualification assessment procedure introduced by the Law of Ukraine “On the Judicial System and the Status of Judges” is a part of the reforms that were initiated by the civil society in this historical way of development of our state. I agree that any changes that come to each of us from the outside mostly cause discomfort. However, since the society demands such changes from both the judicial system and other public institutions, judges who still want to remain in this system, need to be thoroughly prepared for those developments.
