Training on Effective Communication and Conflict Management for Secretariat’s staff held at the Commission
On February 20-21 and March 5-6, 2020, with the assistance of the Ukrainian-Canadian Support to Judicial Reform Project, the training «Effective Communication and Conflict Management» for two groups of Commission Secretariat’s staff was held.
The purpose of the event was to improve participants' communication skills in the performance of their duties and, as a result, to improve the overall effectiveness of the Commission's work processes.
The participants of the training, in particular, got acquainted with the components of effective communication: stages and mistakes in communication. Particular attention was paid to the nature of conflicts, their types, stages of development, as well as the main strategies of behavior and methods of solving possible conflict situations.
The lectures were accompanied by practical tasks for the best assimilation of the material.
