With respect to 21 judges who have successfully passed the qualification evaluation, the High Council of Justice will submit a proposal on appointment to local courts
On September 12, 2019, the High Council of Justice reviewed materials received from the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine regarding the submission to the President of Ukraine of the proposal on the appointment of 22 judges to the positions in local courts.
The powers of the said judges were terminated due to the expiry of the term for which they had been appointed. For a long time, the judges did not administer justice, so their appointment will reduce the workload in courts and speed up consideration of cases.
The judges passed the qualification evaluation for the compliance with the position held and were recognized by the Commission as correspondent to the positions held.
Following the consideration of the recommendations of the Commission, the HCJ decided to submit to the President of Ukraine a proposal on the appointment of 21 judges.
