Lawyers with at least 7 years of professional experience (for the Specialised Circuit Administrative Court) and 9 years of professional experience (for the Specialised Administrative Court of Appeal) in representing clients in public law disputes in administrative courts may participate in competitions for the position of judge of the SCAC and SACA.
Lawyers may confirm their professional experience by providing a copy of their licence to practise law, a copy of an extract from the register of lawyers, and the following documents:
- contracts, orders or other documents certifying the lawyer’s authority to provide legal assistance in the course of their professional activities;
- declarations of income from professional activities for self-employed persons or individual entrepreneurs;
- certificates from the place of work, on wages, employment record book - for persons practising law as part of a legal entity or law firm;
- documents on income for the period of the lawyer’s professional activity;
- copies of court decisions and other procedural documents that together establish the lawyer’s participation in the case (proceedings);
- other documents submitted in accordance with the terms of the competition and which provide grounds for concluding that the lawyer’s practice is genuine.
Documents must be submitted for the period of work during which the candidate confirms their professional experience as a lawyer. Each of the 7 or 9 years of work must be confirmed separately.
Please be informed that, to confirm one year of relevant work experience, no more than 5 documents (files) should be attached to the procedure card. The maximum number of files that can be added is 50 (up to 15 files is recommended), and the size of a single file must not exceed 20 MB. Please note that PDF files may be compressed, but such documents must be readable and must display the information completely and clearly. Please be reminded that the procedure for submitting documents for participation in competitions to the SCAC and SACA ends at 11:59 p.m. on December 23, 2025.
