Competition for the General Courts of Appeal: Two Candidates Have Confirmed Their Ability to Administer Justice at the Odesa Court of Appeal

On March 23, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the suitability of three candidates for the position of judge to administer justice at the Odesa Court of Appeal and two candidates at the Lviv Court of Appeal.

Based on the results of the qualification assessment of candidates for the position of judge at the Odesa Court of Appeal, the Commission took the following decisions:

Based on the results of the qualification assessment of candidates for the position of judge at the Lviv Court of Appeal, the Commission took the following decisions:

In total, interviews were conducted with 46 candidates for the Odesa Court of Appeal: 12 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 13 candidates failed to confirm it, and 21 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.

To the Lviv Court of Appeal interviews were conducted with 18 candidates: 12 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal, 4 failed to confirm it, and 2 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
